The Challenge
Dementia care is fragmented. Patients see multiple specialists, family caregivers coordinate without visibility into clinical plans, and clinicians work across disconnected systems. The result: care gaps, duplicated effort, and worse outcomes.
Harmonic Health, backed by Redesign Health, set out to build a connected platform for dementia care. They had clinical expertise and a clear vision. What they needed was a development partner who could ship healthcare-grade software quickly.
What We Built

We embedded with Harmonic's leadership team as their product development partner, taking them from concept to production-ready MVP in six months.
Discovery. Four weeks mapping the care landscape: who needs what information, when, and in what format. Clinical workflows are complex—we needed to understand them before simplifying them.
Architecture. A system built for healthcare from the ground up. HIPAA compliance, FHIR interoperability, EHR integration. These aren't add-ons; they're foundational.
Clinician workflows. Interfaces designed around how care teams actually work. Patient data from multiple sources, surfaced at the right moment. Care plans that stay current without manual updates.
Caregiver tools. Family members need visibility without overwhelming detail. We built views that answer the question "what do I need to know today" without requiring clinical expertise.
The Result

Harmonic launched their MVP on schedule, with the infrastructure needed to scale operations and serve clinicians. The platform meets CMS GUIDE program requirements, positioning Harmonic to work with dementia care providers across the country.
Building healthcare software quickly doesn't mean cutting corners. It means making good decisions early and not revisiting them.
